Check in
Tap “All good” on a rhythm that fits the trip: every 15 minutes on a short hop, hourly on a longer ride, every 2 hours on a long haul. Each tap drops a location breadcrumb and resets the timer.
Arrive
Tap “Arrived safely.” Your family sees the confirmation and monitoring stops. Home safe.

Sway only raises the alarm when a check-in is missed and the phone has gone silent on location for 20 minutes, so a busy traveler with GPS never triggers a false alarm, but a real disappearance always does.
